About Donna Thacker
Having spent much of her 20’s living in rural South West France & the French Alps, Donna picked up her passion for food visiting the various local markets and experimenting. After running 2 Bed & Breakfast businesses and catering for numerous interesting people including Lord Patten, Johnathon Dimbleby & his family and various other ex-pats she decided to re-locate back to the UK with her two young children in 2005. Seriously Good Food was born in 2006 and Donna went on to become a successful local caterer in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.
She joined Marlow FM in 2011 when the station received their 5 year permanent licence and has been presenting the food and drink show ever since. She has interviewed many fabulous chefs and other foodies including our very own Tom Kerridge, Simon Bonwick (Michelin Starred Chef at the Crown in Burchetts Green) Atul Kochar (Benares, Berkeley Square & Sindhu, Marlow) Adam Simmonds Michelin Starred Chef, Anthony Worrall Thompson, Nick Parkinson (The Royal Oak Paley Street) to name a few.
Donna has a real passion for anything food and is passionate about sharing her knowledge with others. She’s a natural communicator & networker who enjoys creating collaborations.
